• A range of internal and external diameter combinations are available to meet clinical requirements. Intended Use: Medasil Silicone drains are intended for use when a consistent drainage flow is required for the removal of fluid and exudate that have accumulated following surgery. They are for short term use only (up to 29 days). Device Description: The drains are manufactured from silicone elastomer which is biocompatible, latex and phthalate-free. The drains are soft and pliable, key properties of the material provide minimal tissue reaction and enhance patient comfort.
